VACANCY
As a Software Engineer at ROPAX you are responsible for designing, programming and installing systems that are used in the machines of ROPAX.
You work together with the Mechanical Engineers to design the technical and functional elements. You do this on the basis of the project requirements. Before you start programming, make sure the concept design has been tested and the final design is ready. You write all software for various elements of the masonry robot, including the PLC. Finally, the test and review phase follows, always in collaboration with the other Engineers. If the masonry robot works properly, it is installed at the customer’s site. You are also closely involved in this.
You work on the software for a masonry robot for outside on the construction site and you are part of a multidisciplinary team with which you build and continue to develop the machines. A project can focus on internal developments as well as on external customers.

It is important that you properly document what you did and when you did it. You and your colleagues can then fall back on this later.
Lunch is every day together with everyone who is present at the office that day. A good lunch is available in the canteen, but you can also choose to take a walk, for example.
It sometimes comes up during testing and evaluation that something does not quite work as it was intended. In that case, it's up to you and your colleagues to find out what the problem was and fix it.
You and your project team meet weekly to discuss the current state of affairs. think of the planning and status of the software you are working on.
Every Friday afternoon is devoted to developing and testing new ideas in our workshop. The whole team is present here.
Of course we end the week with a beer and a bitterbal in the workshop.
